WWF/E SmackDown! - May 2, 2002

- Rikishi/Hurricane v. AGD: Pretty good. Chuck Palumbo is either way into his character or he's just plain not right. Rico's a funny guy, though. Selling the Hurri-Chokeslam like that. I still think the AGD should be on both shows. I don't like them - but they should be.

- I don't think I'm the only one tiring of Vince McMahon's weekly "Attempting to boink Stacy" segments. Vince, go where Shane, Steph and Linda are right now... OFF TV.

- Bob Holly was stiffing the HELL out of Randy Orton. Good God. He damn near ruptured his windpipe with that one chop. Right on his damn neck - SICK.

- Nice to see Stoneface back again. And in a match no doubt. It's a shame the crowd sat on their hands for him. See - this is 1 (among many) reasons why the IC Champ should also be on both shows. (Stoneface = Lance Storm, BTW) Also, I'd like to query who in the WWF creative team decided that Val Venis should go by the Big Valbowski now. The match was good but it seemed like the crowd was just MUTE until the very end.

- I see the "Face DX HHH" has paid us another visit. He should stick around more often.

- Is Faarooq Mark Henry's pimp or something? The match with Christian and Test was - just there. I still dig Brother D-Von and the way his face lit up when he saw those Benjamins. Speaking of Test, were my eyes deceiving me or did Test get himself a Hogan tan? His skin looked a little on the orange side tonight.

- Nice interview from Jericho tonight. And those were some slammin' tights he was sporting tonight - though he should wear the shirt with it more often.

- Angle v. Edge. Hair vs. Hair. I'm sure he won't (since the face almost always win these) but - for once - I hope Edge loses. Just out of the morbid curiosity of what he'd look like with his scalp bare to the world.

- Tajiri v. Kidman was pretty cool again. Kidman got a chant - it's about damn time. BTW, where's Rey and Nova? Aren't they signed up too?

- This thing with Hogan as the World Champion has me thinking about KOTR. I have this feeling it's going to pan out that this year's KOTR will be for the Unified World Title.

- Tribute to Thesz and Wahoo = classy but a tad bit on the rushed side.

- Kurt Angle doesn't suck - Michael Cole - now that's someone who sucks. When he's not shilling, he's jabbering on about something OTHER than the match in front of his face. Where's Joey?

- I miss the Rock. I really do, dammit.
