WWF/E SmackDown! - April 11, 2002

I didn't think this show was too bad. Average at best.

* Angle is the man. The Iron Freakin' Sheik - he says. So is Smartass Edge and his 7,654 teeth. Seems like Edge is getting the big push while Rock is gone. It's a shame they never let Edge talk as much while he was the IC Champ during the Alliance days. Hopefully, this means Angle will get cut off by "You Suck" instead of "What?" more often.

* Put your damn clothes back on, Albert. Might I say the same for Rikishi who seemed to have troubles with his trousers tonight.

* Rico's sideburns scare me. They really do. Match was so-so. I guess we're getting Snow/Maven v. AGD at Backlash. I still think the AGD should be on both shows. Even though it means Billy Gunn being on TV twice.

* The reasoning behind Tajiri's heel turn is a tad retarded, IMO. That match w/ Hurricane was pretty cool too. And what did Helms to do his hair??? Like he put lime-flavored frosting on the top of his head. Tajiri kicking you in the head = OUCH.

* I don't know about you guys, but I'm digging Reverend D-Von. Tesify, brother. So Buh-Buh's a face and D-Von's a heel? Hm.... kinda like before they hooked up in ECW....

* The Vince Hiring Stacy segment = *click*.

* That World Title still looks too small. I think I'd like it better if it was the size (and/or the shape) of the WCW World Title.

* Nice to see Faarooq again. Mark Henry looks kinda cool with those dreads. Damn - is that boy strong. Hopefully though that segment doesn't mean we get a Test v. Henry or a Test v. Faarooq match.

* The main event was so-so. BTW, seeing HHH hit the the Boot/Legdrop reminds me of when he got squashed by the Ultimate Warrior at WM12. I still don't want them to turn HHH heel. I like face HHH.

* Michael Cole continues to suck.
Hurricane hits Tajiri with a modified Fisherman Suplex. Cole: "What a... um... throw by Hurricane!" I also like how Cole completely 180'd in his opinion of Tajiri in one week. Yeah, JR does it too but Cole is MUCH, MUCH worse.

There you go. OK show. But you do notice the absence of the Rock b/c their face side looks a tad weakish. Excluding HHH - the top faces on SD are Hogan and Edge.
