WWF/E SmackDown! - March 21, 2002

This show went by pretty quick. Not really eventful.

* Wannabe Hip-Hop Angle = Hilarious. He even quoted DMX....
"Y'all gonna make me lose my mind - up in here - up in here!" I don't even like DMX but damned if that didn't have me on the floor.

* This Edge/Booker match was a tad sloppy but it looks like we get an Edge/Angle feud out of this and I have NO complaints about that.

* Kevin Nash sucked.... as usual. But that's my bias talking of course. And he looks like a BUM with those jeans he was sporting. Hey, X-Pac's back - looking about 10 pounds heavier. I thought it was cool that he mentioned how he waited four years to punk Hogan out.

* The segment with HHH/Jericho/Steph was cool. Kinda showed signs of the old, laid-back and funny HHH. I SO hope he doesn't turn heel and go nWo like everyone else wants. HHH has a chance to shine as a babyface and I'm hoping he doesn't throw it away like he did the last time. BTW, Steph is going bye-bye. That video package that HHH dropped just further reinforced my opinion on that.

* Nice to see the Hurricane back. I hope he doesn't end up on Raw since I don't watch Raw much (not having cable can do that to you). I know I wasn't the only one that cringed when BROCK~! damn near decapitated Molly.

* Chris Benoit will be back soon. Thank God.

* Rico Constantino is managing the AGD. That's cool with me. Jeff Hardy continues to prove to everyone that he's NUTS. The man wore a jockstrap over his face. It thought it was a Vader mask at first.

* The women's match was damn sloppy. I couldn't get into it.

* Why are they continuing this angle with Christian and DDP? Well, at least Regal is the European Champ again - which really doesn't say much in hindsight....

* Still no Austin. Can't say I missed him though.

* Line of the night: Lawler (being a dirty old man as usual) wanting Torrie Wilson to be his "laptop". Speaking of which, that match between Tajiri and Test was pretty cool. But why did they jack up Test's music like that? I'm sure BrewGuy isn't pleased.

Show went by kinda quick. It wasn't bad but it pretty much is nothing more than Split Setup fodder. Though I'm still wondering how they'll be handling the championships between the two rosters and all.
